For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and this Privacy Policy, the data controller responsible for your personal data is the legal entity operating the wj1 platform under PAGCOR regulatory authorization.

wj1 has designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO) as required under the DPA. The DPO is responsible for overseeing data privacy compliance within the organization, handling data subject rights requests, and serving as the point of contact for the National Privacy Commission. wj1 collects personal data through your direct interactions with the Platform, through automated technical means, and — where required by law — through third-party identity verification services. The categories of data collected, their source, and the purpose for collection are summarized in the table below:

wj1 does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information as defined under the DPA (such as health data, religious beliefs, or political opinions) unless you voluntarily disclose such information in a support communication. In that event, the information will be used solely to address your inquiry and will not be retained beyond what is necessary for that purpose.

wj1 processes your personal data on one or more of the following legal bases under the Data Privacy Act of 2012:

wj1 uses personal data only for the purposes for which it was collected or for compatible purposes as permitted by the DPA. The primary purposes include:

• Account Management: Creating and maintaining your wj1 account, verifying your identity for KYC purposes, managing your wallet, and processing your login and session activity.
• Service Delivery: Providing access to games, processing wagers, crediting winnings, calculating VIP tier status and cashback, and fulfilling bonus offers in accordance with applicable terms.
• Payment Processing: Processing deposits via GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO, and other accepted payment channels; processing withdrawal requests to your verified payment method; and maintaining transaction records as required by law.

• Marketing Communications (with consent): Sending promotional offers, bonus notifications, and platform updates to users who have opted in to receive such communications. These can be unsubscribed from at any time.
• Platform Improvement: Using aggregated, anonymized analytics data to understand how players use the wj1 platform and to make informed decisions about product development and user experience improvements.

wj1 does not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Data is shared only with the categories of third parties described below, and only to the extent necessary for the specified purpose:

• Payment Service Providers: GCash (G-Xchange, Inc.), Maya (Voyager Innovations), BPI, BDO, and other payment partners receive the minimum personal data necessary to process a specific transaction. • Professional Advisers: Lawyers, auditors, and compliance consultants who are bound by professional confidentiality obligations and who require access to personal data to provide services to wj1.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of the wj1 business, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. Affected users will be notified in advance where practicable, and the acquiring entity will be bound by data handling obligations consistent with this Policy.

wj1 retains personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable Philippine law. The following minimum retention periods apply:

Personal data that is no longer required for any active purpose and whose retention period has expired will be securely deleted or anonymized. Anonymized data (from which individual identity cannot be recovered) may be retained indefinitely for aggregated statistical purposes.

wj1 uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — and similar tracking technologies to operate the Platform and improve your experience. The categories of cookies used by wj1 are:

• Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the Platform to function. These include session authentication tokens, security cookies that prevent cross-site request forgery, and cookies that remember your language and display preferences. These cannot be disabled without breaking core Platform functionality.
• Functional Cookies: Remember your preferences across sessions, such as your default game category, currency display preference, and whether you have acknowledged certain notifications. These improve your experience but are not essential.
• Analytics Cookies: Collect aggregated, anonymized data about how players use the Platform — which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and where users encounter errors. This data is used internally to improve the Platform and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

wj1 implements appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include, but are not limited to:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and the wj1 servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. The wj1 Platform is served exclusively over HTTPS.
• Encryption at Rest: Personal data stored in wj1 databases is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption or equivalent.
• Access Controls: Access to personal data is restricted on a need-to-know basis. wj1 staff are granted only the minimum data access required to perform their role. All staff with access to personal data receive data privacy training.

• Penetration Testing: wj1 conducts periodic third-party penetration tests and vulnerability assessments of the Platform infrastructure.
• Incident Response: wj1 maintains a documented data breach response procedure. In the event of a breach that poses a real risk to data subjects, wj1 will notify the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours and will inform affected users promptly.

Notwithstanding these measures, no internet-based platform can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own wj1 account credentials and should enable two-factor authentication to further protect your account.

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, as a data subject you have the following rights in respect of personal data that wj1 holds about you. wj1 will respond to valid rights requests within thirty (30) days of receipt, or within such extended period as permitted by the DPA where the request is complex.

wj1 is a gambling platform restricted to individuals aged 21 years and above. wj1 does not knowingly collect or process personal data from persons under the age of 18, and specifically prohibits access by any person under 21 years of age.

If wj1 becomes aware that it has received personal data from a person under the age of 18, it will immediately close the associated account, forfeit all associated funds in accordance with applicable PAGCOR regulations, and permanently delete the personal data concerned.

wj1 primarily processes and stores personal data within the Philippines. However, certain third-party service providers — particularly game software providers and cloud infrastructure partners — may process data in other jurisdictions.

Where personal data is transferred outside the Philippines, wj1 ensures that such transfers comply with the requirements of Section 21 of the Data Privacy Act and the relevant NPC regulations governing cross-border data transfers. Transfers are made only to:

• Countries that the National Privacy Commission has recognized as providing adequate levels of personal data protection; or
• Third-party recipients that have entered into data transfer agreements with wj1 incorporating data protection standards consistent with the DPA; or
• Parties where the transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract between wj1 and the data subject, or is required by law.

Details of the specific countries or regions to which data may be transferred are available upon request to the wj1 Data Protection Officer.

wj1 may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices, changes in applicable Philippine law, or changes in the wj1 Platform and services. Material changes will be notified to registered users via email to their registered address and/or by prominent notice on the wj1 Platform, with not less than seven (7) days' advance notice before the change takes effect.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy will be revised whenever the Policy is updated. You are responsible for reviewing this Policy periodically. Your continued use of the wj1 Platform after the effective date of any updated Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
